What Does Maxillary Sinusitis Look Like?

Here is an X ray of a patient with left maxillary sinusitis. The arrow points to the infected sinus. The dark area indicates pus or fluid.
On the right maxillary sinus the entire cavity is black, indicating no disease is present. Notice that the root of a tooth is quite close to the right maxillary cavity.
